Our lambs are getting big and bold, and there are some really good ones this year. Check out the 'Pictures' section to see how big they are growing.
![]() We thought our last ewe had lambed during the week and breathed a sigh of relief - it's all over for another year we thought. Our yearling ewes spent the winter away from the house at our rented farm together with two ewes that had scanned empty. What a surprise we had on Saturday when we went down to check on the ewes and noticed that Noodle, who had run with the ram all autumn and scanned empty, was obviously pregnant and looked almost ready to lamb! So she is now installed in the lambing shed and we are back on 'Lambwatch'. It's a particularly nice surprise as she won lots of Championships in 2012 but didn't have any lambs last year. We were convinced she wasn't able to breed and she has earned herself a reprieve at the eleventh hour. Sheep never fail to surprise us! Our lambs are getting big and bold, and there are some really good ones this year. Check out the 'Pictures' section to see how big they are growing.
