Lambing update

14/1/2011

Two more of our ewes have lambed since the last post, one on 12th January and one just this morning. This morning's lamb is a great big ewe lamb who weighed  12lbs - and the mother is our smallest ewe! We had a set of twins on 12th which were the first lambs born that were sired by Dun-Mor Ultimate. We are really pleased with them-they look really nice.
Unfortunately three of the quads, shown in the last post, died. Even though we did our best for them, they were just too weak and a bit premature. The fourth lamb, who we have named Duncan, is really healthy and spends a lot of his time playing and running around his pen!
